To Whom It May Concern: This letter is written in support of Eliot Bernstein’s application for admission to your law school. I have know Eliot since 1996 in both a professional and personal capacity. Eliot has had a wide variety of career endeavors in his lifetime, and has used each career experience as a stepping stone to the next. Eliot puts his whole heart and sole into each endeavor that he undertakes and approaches each challenge with an intensity like none that I have ever witnessed. He leaves no stone unturned in striving to be successful and meet that current challenge. He began interested in pursuing a career in law after vigorously fighting an intense legal battle relating to patents that he developed during his last endeavor. On a personal level, Eliot is a devoted and trusted friend. During a period in my life when I was a single mom, he took a special interest in my two daughters and he and his wife frequently took care of them. He lovingly mentored them through my divorce and was a strong masculine influence during this period in their lives. In conclusion, I think that Eliot will be a committed and dedicated student who will strive to make a difference. Eliot is firmly devoted to his sense of morals and upon becoming a lawyer will represent his clients to the fullest extent.
